REPORTING – Forty hand-picked competitors will start this Friday, this adventure around the Carthusian monastery. The event is reputed to be one of the toughest in the world.

If an ultratrailer has the idea of one day throwing himself into the Chartreuse adventure, his curiosity will inevitably lead him to the event’s website. Or rather the only web page dedicated to it since the content is reduced to its bare minimum. Here, no video with a bombastic tone, nor photos highlighting the forest of the Chartreuse mif (Isère) where the event is held, no route either, and even less a registration form. Nothing of the sort. On the photo of a river in the background, a few lines briefly describe the contours of the race and how to apply.
