Prince Harry embarked on a crusade against the English tabloids

This is a crucial moment in the standoff between english tabloids to the dozens of personalities who accuse them of having collected information illegally. Prince Harry, leader of a new sling against the practices of the scandalous press, is called to testify on Tuesday before the High Court in London as part of his trial against the Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN), owner of the “ DailyMirror”.

The Duke of Sussex accuses the British daily of having resorted to illicit methods to collect information between 1995 and 2010, in particular the hacking of his telephone messaging service and the use of private detectives. He is one of 100 plaintiffs, including singer Cheryl, the heirs of George Michael and Michael Le Vell, actor in the series “Coronation Street”. The case comes twelve years after the “News of the World” scandal which exposed these practices.
