The Slovenian won, for the first time in his career, the road race of the championships
Tadej Pogacar seems ready for the big start of the Grande Boucle (July 1). After winning the time trial earlier in the week, he won the road race in the Slovenian road cycling championships this Sunday. He left Luka Mezgec behind in the final kilometers of the race. This is the first time he has won this race. It is his 14th victory since the beginning of the year.
Pogacar brilliantly confirms its comeback, less than a week from the Tour de France. He had fractured his scaphoid on the clic Liège-Bastogne-Liège. To return to the best, he left twice for training camp (in Spain then in Italy).
