The striker underwent an MRI in Cluj, Romania late Monday afternoon, revealing a hamstring tear.
The right winger of the France Espoirs team, Michael Olise, injured his hamstrings during the group match of theEuro Espoirs 2023 against Norway, is forfeited for the rest of the competition, the FFF announced on Monday. Hit in the left thigh as he received a cross from Rayane Cherki in the opposing area and forced to give up his place, Olise underwent an MRI in Cluj, Romania late Monday afternoon, revealing a tear in the hamstrings.
His absence is estimated at several weeks and he is therefore forfeited for the rest of the competition. Olise will leave the Bleuets group on Tuesday afternoon and will not be replaced.
