MHR coach Philippe Saint-André could leave Montpellier this summer
Nothing has been finalized yet, but relations between ”PSA” and its president Mohed Altrad have deteriorated in recent weeks. The former coach has not accepted the new role that his president wants to entrust to him. The latter had announced it on RMC in early May. He envisaged for him a role of vice-president especially in charge of the commercial policy of the club, less of the sports policy, promised to a tandem Richard erill – Jean-Baptiste Elissalde whose contours are still vague to this day.
Mohed Altrad had been surprised to find recently that Philippe Saint-André was no longer going to the training ground at all during the week, hence his stated desire since to make him take a step back from the sporting aspect. In the event of departure, the terms of which would remain to be defined with two years of contract in play, Philippe Saint-André could bounce back to Provence Rugby (Pro D2), interested in his profile without this being a priority file for next season. Contacted, Philippe Saint-André did not wish to comment on this information.
