Holder the highest BASE jump ski world record (Mont-Blanc / 4,808m altitude) Matthias Giraud (the Super Frenchie), has just achieved a new feat by performing the first ski BASE jump from the Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey (north face) to the top of the Italian part of the Mont-Blanc Mif, culminating at an altitude of 4,112m !
After more than 11 years of waiting, the 39-year-old Frenchman, who has been practicing this discipline for 15 years, has just realized his ultimate dream and the most committed BASE jump ski of his career to date: “It was the most technical face I’ve ever BASE jumped and it took me years to develop the skills and confidence to tackle it. To date, this jump is the pinnacle of my career and marks a new level in my BASE jumping methodology.he said after his feat.
