The French beat the Russian with a magnificent point at the ‘s-Hertogenbosch tournament (4-6, 6-4, 6-2).
Adrian Mannarino, king of turf. The French overthrew the number one seed in the 2nd round of the ‘s-Hertogenbosch tournament in Rosmalen (Netherlands) Daniil Medvedev (World No. 3)in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. Winner of the edition in 2019, Mannarino inflicted another premature defeat on Medvedev, already out in the first round of Roland-Garros against the Brazilian Thiago Seyboth-Wild. Val d’Oisien thus takes revenge on Medvedev, who beat them here in the semi-finals last year before losing in the final. Mannarino will face Canadian Milos Raonic or Australian Jordan Thompson in the next round.
