PORTRAIT – At just 27 years old, the spokesman of the Communist Party should be inducted as the head of the list in the European elections.

Each his way, each his way. In the absence of an agreement with NupesTHE Communist Party (PCF) will leave alone in the European elections of June 2024. The party’s spokesperson, Léon Deffontaines, should unsurprisingly be inducted as head of the list, during a vote in the Communist National Council, on 1er July.

A springboard for this protege of Fabien Roussel, still unknown, who was until then national secretary of the youth movement. At just 27 years old, he should therefore succeed the deputy mayor of Paris, Ian Brossat, whose list had only won 2.49% of the vote in 2019 – not allowing him to send any deputy to Parliament.
