DECRYPTION – These parliamentary initiatives are an opportunity for MNAs to bring subjects that are dear to them to the eyes of the general public. And occupy the attention for a brief moment.
In the National embly, since the start of the legislature, 723 bills have been tabled by deputies. An increase of 15% compared to the previous term, over the same period. For a result that is eloquent to say the least: only about ten were adopted. This is for example the case of the bill against the illegal occupation of housing, known as “anti-squat law”of the Renaissance chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee, Guillaume Kasbarian.
Or even of transpartisan text aimed at combating the scams and excesses of influencers on social networks, carried by the socialist Arthur Delaporte and his Renaissance colleague Stéphane Vojetta. Two consensuses obtained by the elected officials after a long work of preparation and then of conviction with their colleagues. And, almost always, in very close contact with the ministries concerned.
