Land take: “green industry” projects included in the objectives
The green industry dear to the Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire will not deteriorate the objectives of Zero net artificialisation (ZAN) wanted by the government. While the Minister of the Economy has made no secret in recent weeks of his desire to exclude industrial sites linked to the ecological transition from these objectives, Matignon is ured that the subject is settled: these projects will be included in the 125,000 hectares that can be artificialized by 2031.
The government has also tabled an amendment to this effect to the “ZAN” bill, which was adopted on Wednesday evening in the Economic Affairs Committee of the National embly (where it will be debated in session on June 21 and 22). . Aiming to preserve biodiversity, limit global warming, or reduce the impact of floods for example, this law plans in particular to halve the areas taken from nature by 2031 (that is to say to go from 250,000 to 125,000 hectares over the decade).
