IFOREL: the acronym is unknown to most Marine Le Pen voters. The training institute for local elected representatives, which has its headquarters in Albi, the discreet prefecture of the Tarn, is nevertheless at the heart of the strategy of the National Rally. Local elected officials but also now party executives and deputies will acquire skills allowing them to be more comfortable and technical in their interventions.
At the head of the organization, Thibaut de La Tocnaye is a veteran of the former National Front, which he joined in 1988. He is still part of the first circle: he was a member of Marine Le Pen’s strategic committee during the last presidential campaign, in charge of economic issues and reindustrialisation.
