The German rider from Intermarché won the sixth stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné this Friday.

The German Georg Zimmermann (Intermarché) won the sixth stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné on Friday in the Savoyard resort of Crest-Voland.

He beat the two other survivors of the morning break, the French Mathieu Burgaudeau (TotalEnergies) and the Spaniard Jonathan Castroviejo (Ineos).

Dane Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma), who arrived in a group comprising the main favorites, retains the leader’s yellow jersey before the last two mountain stages this weekend.
