The club announced the end of the collaboration between Racing and the coach.
Barely bought by its American bosses, the RCS proceeds to a sacred grooming. Strasbourg and its coach Frédéric Antonetti, who arrived on the Alsatian bench in February and who kept the RCSA in Ligue 1, “terminated their collaboration by mutual agreement“, announced the Alsatian club in a press release published on Tuesday.
Fifteenth in Ligue 1, Strasbourg went under the American flag last week, with its takeover by the BlueCo consortium which also owns the English club Chelsea. The new bosses therefore felt that Antonetti, author of excellent work since his arrival in Alsace, would no longer do the trick.
