Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), provisional leader in the MotoGP world championship, took pole position in the German Grand Prix this Saturday.

Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), recent winner of the Italian Grand Prixand provisional leader in the MotoGP world championship, took pole position in the German Grand Prix this Saturday. French side, Johann Zarco (Ducati-Pramac), who crashed at the end of qualifying, and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) will start 4th and 12th respectively.

Behind reigning world champion Bagnaia, his compatriot Luca Marini (Ducati-VR46) and Australian Jack Miller (KTM) will also start on the front row this Saturday for the sprint at 3:00 p.m. and this Sunday for the GP at 2:00 p.m.

Spaniard Marc Marquez (Honda) had a real ordeal with three crashes during qualifying. He will start from 7th place on the starting line of the German GP.
