FC Pas du Loup winner of season 2 of the Prix Sensationnelles
For two seasons now, the Prix Sensationn’elles, organized by the FFF, has rewarded the best women’s amateur football clubs.
FC Pas du Loup put its name on the winners of the Prix Sensationnelles, organized by the French Football Federation. This distinction, created a year ago in partnership with Intermarché, aims to develop amateur women’s football.
For the second year of this trophy, it is the FC Pas du Loup club, based in Montpellier, which convinced the jury. The Hérault club is thus ahead of Saint-Dizier Football Féminin (Haute-Marne) and Thiais Féminin FC (Val-de-Marne). The winning club distinguished itself by its conditions of accessibility and in particular the freeness of its license but also by its fight against the digital divide or the professionalization of the leisure and health sports supervision.
With this prize, FC Pas du Loup will receive the sum of 30,000 euros, paid over three years. The club’s players will also take part in a two-week course at Clairefontaine. “Having the chance to highlight our actions in favor of women’s football on a national scale was already exceptional, confesses Nordine Maktoubi, president of this club he created ten years ago. But going home with the winner’s trophy is both the reward for the hard, difficult and daily work of our volunteers and a fantastic opportunity to continue to develop our “Louved’elles” project and become the reference club for women’s football for surrounding neighborhoods.»
