Europeans: the rights compete for the electorate
With 27% of the voting intentions, the RN would arrive neck and neck with the presidential camp (26%) in the Europeans next year. FREDERICK FLORIN/AFP
The Republicans, the National Rally and Reconquest! engage in the fight to capture right-wing voters.
The fight for the right-wing electorate is in full swing more than ever. And the latest Elabe poll, published on Sunday in Opinion, has already aroused many reactions, in the various parties positioned on that side of the political spectrum. The survey reveals a neck and neck match between the National Rally (27%) and the presidential camp (26%) in view of the 2024 European elections. The Republicans, credited with 9% of voting intentions, and Reconquest!, the party of Éric Zemmour (5.5%), are far behind. Not enough to scare LR, we swear in the party staff, who hope that the balance of power can still change significantly by the first round.
