Earpieces and microphones on the hero match players on the L’Équipe channel
Djibril Cissé sprints towards the goal while answering questions from commentators Candice Rolland and Yoann Riou. This is what viewers of the L’Équipe channel could attend on Tuesday evening. As part of the third edition of the “hero match” between the Bollaert stadium legends of RC Lens (Jean-Guy Wallemme, Raphaël Varane, Vladimir Smicer…) to players (Adil Rami, Pedro Miguel Pauleta, Samir Nasri …) and personalities (Paul Mirabel, Kev Adams…) playing under the Unicef jersey, the channel decided to test a production device that is more immersive than ever.
This gala match will indeed offer a unique experience with a mini-camera installed on the referee or even cameramen returning to the lawn during stopped phases of play. But above all, throughout the match, several players from both teams will be equipped with microphones and earphones. The latter will thus be able to respond to the interviews of the evening commentators or to the presenter Messaoud Benterki and his consultant Jérôme Alonzo, in full action, before taking a penalty or during a goal celebration. Djibril Cissé and Pierre Bouby, consultants for the L’Équipe channel, will definitely be equipped, but other players and personalities will also take part in the experience.
The majority of the funds collected, thanks to the sale of tickets as well as donations made during the event, will support the Unicef emergency aid fund. The other part of the proceeds will be donated to the actions of the Racing Coeur de Lens Foundation in favor of children.
