Apple unveils its virtual and augmented reality headset

Apple has just unveiled its virtual and augmented reality headset. Called Vision Pro, the latter can be controlled by eyes, hands and voice. It represents a new step for Apple, after the Mac and the iPhone, underlined its CEO Tim Cook from his headquarters in Cupertino.

His price ? $3,500. It will be available early next year in the United States, before debuting in other countries during 2024.

This device, which looks like a ski helmet with a battery at the end of a cable, “mixes the real and virtual worlds”, according to Tim Cook. In particular, it allows you to work remotely using several virtual screens. When a user wears the headset, their eyes remain visible to people around them.

This headset will also allow you to watch movies or play video games by choosing the size of the screen that appears in front of you. Disney CEO Bob Iger made an appearance at the presentation, to announce that Disney Plus would be available on the new platform.
