Italian midfielder Bryan Cristante has extended his contract with AS Roma until 2027, the Serie A club announced on Monday.

Cristante, who is 28, has been at Roma since 2018. His contract normally expired at the end of the 2023-24 season.

According to Italian media, his extension is accompanied by an increase in his salary, increased to 2.8 million euros per year.

International (33 selections), Cristante has a European championship title with Italy in 2021 and a Europa League Conference won last year with the Roman club.

This season, Roma have reached the Europa League final, beaten by Sevilla FC. Sixth in Serie A, it is qualified for the next Europa League.
