The Groupama-FDJ rider will wear a blue, white, red jersey during the next Tour de France, which starts on July 3.

With this victory, Valentin Madouas succeeds Florian Sénéchal. Thanks to Rudy Molard, second, Groupama-FDJ managed a double, while Julien Bernard completed the podium. Thibaut Pinot, for his final French Championship, finished seventh.
