DECRYPTION – Members of the left and environmentalists are divided on the possibility of a union, one year before the European elections.
On the left and among environmentalists, one year before the election, everyone reads the polls the way they want. Would it only take one list of the type of the Nupes alliance, tied to the legislative elections of 2022, and threaten the RN in first place, ahead of Renaissance, or each ume their own, with their diversities, their own share of deputies and the conviction that the European elections have nothing to do with a national election?
Since last summer, the battle of strategy has been raging and does not seem about to be resolved. Possible head of the environmental list with his colleague Marie Toussaint, MEP David Cormand, sighs heavily: “I understood that there would be a series for another year on the part of the Insoumis.
