The founder of OVH wants to get his hands on Qwant

ANALYSIS – Octave Klaba and the Caisse des dépôts create a holding company to compete with Google, where the struggling French search engine would be housed.
The end of the debacle for Qwant? The French search engine, pioneer in the protection of user privacy and self-proclaimed European rival of the American Google, could open a brighter chapter in its tormented history. This Tuesday, Octave and Miroslaw Klaba – the co-founders of the European cloud champion OVH – announced personally and in partnership with Caisse des dépôts (shareholder of Qwant) that they had entered into exclusive negotiations with the shareholders of the French engine with a view to a redemption.
This operation would be part of a larger framework.
