Vantiva rebounds in 2022 but is pessimistic for 2023

Vantiva has certainly collapsed on the stock market in recent months, as has Technicolor Creative Solution, the other branch of Technicolor (formerly Thomson Multimedia) from which it was split last year . But the debt of this company carrying Technicolor’s historic activities (connected boxes, DVD manufacturing, etc.) is less burdensome to bear and Vantiva is therefore able to generate cash each year, which makes it possible to continue the activity. .

In 2022, Vantiva saw its turnover increase by 23% over one year (11% at constant exchange rates) to reach nearly 2.8 billion euros, driven in particular by a 43% increase in revenue from connected home products (box), particularly in the United States. Revenues from the logistics solutions division (which notably includes the manufacture of CDs and DVDs) fell by 14% in a structurally declining market. It should also be noted that the group has started producing records vinyls even if delivery delays and a slower-than-expected commissioning of its new presses penalized the start of this activity.
