Emmanuel Macron will devote most of his day on Tuesday to the J-500 before the start of the Paris Olympic Games (July 26, 2024). The President of the Republic will begin by having lunch with the managers of the partner companies (or future partners) of the Games before receiving Thomas Jolly to discuss with him the artistic concept of the opening ceremony of the Games.

The day will end with a speech and a meeting with 500 officials from Île-de-France which will take place within the premises of the Île-de-France regional prefecture. The next day, the Minister of Sports and JOP, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, will speak before the Council of Ministers to take stock of the organization of the event.

“ (This advice) will be an opportunity for the executive to ensure that each of the members of the Government, who are all directly or indirectly concerned by this project which will increasingly mobilize them over the coming months, maintains a level of commitment total on this project »says one at the presidential palace.

The Head of State, it is specified at the Élysée, “wishes to ensure that everyone, within all the ministries as well as our administrations, is at work on a clear agenda and roadmap on which all the possible pitfalls are known and anticipated”.

On the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré side, it is specified that France is “on time, whether in the infrastructure or mobilization component”. Same satisfaction on the side of partnerships, a sector where the Élysée says “more than optimistic that the partnership revenue targets we have set for 2024 will be fully achieved”.
